A kaala dhaaga before a journey. A kaala tika behind the ear.
Things we inherited. Things we don't always explain.
Things we simply do for the people we love.

And then there are our kids. Our companions. Our little pieces of home.
They protect us too, in ways seen and unseen.
From loneliness. From bad days. From energy we don't have words for.
So we do what comes naturally. We look after them.
We notice when something feels different.
We try to keep them happy, healthy and safe.

Nazar, to us, is bigger than buri nazar. It's anything we wish away from the ones we love.
Bad energy. Poor health. Uneasy days. Anything that disturbs their little world.

And protection is bigger too. It is care. It is instinct. It is connection.
It is love, turned into something you do. That's the ritual we're building.
For their wellbeing. For their happiness. For their aura. For the bond we share.

They look out for us. We look out for them. Sometimes love likes a ritual.

Guardian of the Furries

Nazarkuttu is the dog behind the name. A little mischievous. A little magical.

Legend has it, Kirtimukha, the one we all know as Nazarbattu, protector who sits
above Indian doors, looked down one day and noticed that some homes already
had protectors of their own. Dogs. Cats. Birds. Cows.

But who protects them?

The question stayed with him. So he wentpast the clouds, into the Himalayas.
There, on a peak no map remembers, a dog appeared. Radiant. Unshaken by the cold.
Staring back at him like he'd been expecting him all along.

Nazarbattu knew. He'd found his answer.

He adopted him on the spot. And right there, on that mountain,
he passed on everything he had -  Nazar Nash. Phool Power. Bijli Blast.
Three powers. One purpose.

Then he gave him a name, and a job that would outlast them both.
Nazarkuttu.

Legend has it, he's still on watch, from a spot on your couch.

Handmade. Heartfelt.

Every piece here is a labour of love, not a production line. The paracord is specially designed and woven for us. Each charm is hand-enamelled, hand-buffed. Every cord, hand-knotted into a band. Small, deliberate acts of care, done by hand, at every step.

Made in India, by design - because this story, and the rituals it borrows from, were always rooted here. A little bit of the nostalgia our grandmothers wove into us, now woven into something for the ones we protect.

And before it reaches you, every order is packed and personally signed off by our furriest cofounder, Poppins.

Notes from Simran

Brand strategist and designer. Years spent shaping identities for other brands —
this one's just the first that's mine.This one isn't strategy. It's tribute.

The First Protector

His name was Buzo.
Came home when I was four and a half — left behind by a family emigrating,
carrying scars they gave him. It made him guarded, hard to love at first glance.

He protected anyway. Pulled all-nighters through my board exams.
Met my husband before my parents did — his approval mattered more than anyone's.

Everything sensitive, instinctive in me — that's his doing. This brand carries it.

The Co-Founder

Poppins. Adopted, opinionated, mildly famous. Chooses adventure over food, always.
Co-stars on @Triplesundae, our pet travel & parenting Insta page — unquestionably, the lead.

He made me a mother the day he became mine. His protection wears attitude, not armour.
A little pricey, too dramatic and somehow that pickiness has steered me clear of people, places, situations I had no business near.

Otherwise

Indies are my weakness. Leaves from distant lands live as bookmarks.
I write poetry no one reads, Illustrate, badly, in the margins of notebooks.
Some of that ends up here too.

This brand is built from all of it —
Buzo's instinct.
Poppins' influence.
And a lifelong, slightly unreasonable love for dogs.

Some people build brands.
I just kept a promise to two dogs.
